This is a really beautiful tasteful journal, it’s light, and small but packed full of mindfulness prompts thst get you thinking and feeling in the moment. The journal itself is very elegant, the colors are light, and I love that, and the lettering on the front of the book is raised and glossy, the book is short and has about only a full page or two per prompt, but plenty of space to write in. If you are a hardcore journal fan and like to write alot, you might find there to not be alot of space for you to do so, but for someone starting out in Journaling and who don’t like to write alot, this would be a perfect journal.
Before you get down to the actual Journaling, the author tells you a little about mindfulness and Journaling and her experience with it, which spans 4-5 pages, not really necessary for someone who already knows about mindfulness and just wants to get down to buisness but other people might find it helpful. There are wonderful prompts all through out the journal, and beautiful quotes that get you thinking, and writing! One of the promps that is repeated in this journal which I really love is “List the things you are grateful for right now”, gratitude is one of the easiest forms of mindfulness, you being grateful for what you have now, and pondering on why you are grateful, which in turn raises your aweraness and mood. But overall this is a wonderful journal, and would make a perfect gift for old and young and man or woman!
