This is the most unique and interactive drawing book I’ve had a pleasure to read! Mark Crilley has done such a wonderful job, and done something that no author/artist has done. The book is very fun, spanning 137 glossy, smooth pages, layed out in a neat comic style through a boys journey learning how to draw, while teaching the reader how to draw at the same time. The story line is fun, entertaining, and interesting, even funny at times. I find that the drawing lessons are very well done, even in with limited amount of small space in small squares, the book is big enough to clearly see all the images and words. The drawing lessons presented are very easy to follow, and I’d say they are absolutley wonderful for beginners who are just starting out, and the author presents various tips on shading, angles, light, detailing, etc and it is all easy to follow. Overall I really love the uniqueness, helpfulness and fun that this book provides and it would be good for young and old alike!

Notice: I recieved a copy of this book thanks to Blogging For Books in exchange for my honest review. All of my opinions are my own.
